FuseConnect™
The FuseConnect™ family field-installable connectors (also known as splice on connectors / fusion splice connectors / field mount connectors) utilize Fujikura’s Arc Fusion Splicers to field terminate fiber optic cables into SC, LC, FC or MPO fiber optic connectors.
Direct termination of cables to any length allow quick repair and replacement of fiber optic connectors in the field, without the need of additional splice trays to protect fusion splice sleeves.
Once assembled, it is largely indistinguishable from a factory terminated connector.
